Facilitators for online mental health training events
We have an exciting opportunity for skilled facilitators to host some of our online professional development events for mental health professionals.
What’s involved?
As facilitator of an event you will:

Host a practice session with the speaker in advance of their event

Open the event, including welcoming delegates and introducing the speaker

Keep the event to time, making sure the schedule is followed
-
Manage the Q&A facility and support the speaker to respond to questions and messages in the chat
-
Manage polls, videos and volunteer involvement as required
-
Close the event
What you’ll bring to the role:
-
A good understanding of and experience of delivering evidence-based psychological therapies
-
A warm, welcoming and professional manner
-
The ability to communicate clearly
-
The sensitivity and confidence to manage the event effectively
-
The ability to work to our framework for our events (e.g., the schedule, the information to be conveyed to delegates)
-
The ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time (time-keeping, Q&A, chat etc)
-
Preferably, previous experience of facilitating events
-
Competence in using online event platforms, preferably Zoom Webinar
You’ll also need to have access to a quiet space free from distractions with a fast and reliable internet connection.
